Need to touch up bathroom trim after water damage, or cover a young artist's work on the hallway wall? Bring in a sample. Our computer spectrometer reads it and matches it exactly, whether the original came from us or from another store's paint line.

Matching the Sheen
Color Is Only Half the Match
A perfect color in the wrong sheen still stands out. We keep sheen charts at the desk: flat, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, and gloss. Hold your sample up to the light next to the chart and you'll see which one you need. We'll help you read it.

- Best. Our premium line for the walls you look at every day.

Primer, or Paint-and-Primer-in-One?
Which One Do You Actually Need?
The project decides.
- New drywall or any new work: use a dedicated primer. A paint-and-primer-in-one on bare sheetrock can take three coats and still look thin. A can of primer costs less and gives a better result.
- Repainting a similar color: paint-and-primer-in-one saves you time on almost any repaint.
- Extreme color changes: prime first, even with a paint-and-primer product.
